Microphone – This is one of the microphones I use all the time.  It plugs into the normal headphone jack on my iPhone or iPad and records excellent sounding audio.  I like to use it when I do any type of public speaking.  I just put my iPhone on airplane mode, so there is no interruptions to the recording, and roll.  It is also helpful to use the Rode app, which can be purchases in the App Store for $5.99 to record the audio, but any recording app will work.

AUDIO EDITING – I currently use Audacity to edit my audio before publishing.  It is a free download, and is pretty easy to learn the basic functions.  It can be very technical, as well, so as you continue to improve your quality as you gain more experience.

SketchMEaVideo video scribing – The software I use to create those captivating explainer videos is VideoScribe.  Once again, it is a great program to learn the basics with, but as you want to improve the quality, there is nearly no limitation to what you can draw through the program!  An example of what I have created is below, and by clicking on the link to VideoScribe, you can download the program and try it completely free for 7 days!
